The Project
A universal template system
An educational powerhouse as big as Stanford needed to ensure that their web products were easy-to-use and fully functional. They hired us to develop their designs into responsive Drupal themes for use in various Stanford departments.
When developing this web template system, it was critical that the templates be flexible to accommodate a wide range of content. However, Stanford didn't have a strategy of how the content would look on mobile devices. Our designer worked closely with their web services team to develop a mobile design strategy that would be flexible enough to fit any type of content.
We built several prototypes and tested the usability of different design concepts. We found and solved all usability issues. We meticulously tested to ensure that the templates followed current design trends and patterns, and the latest web standards. We also worked in special mobile features to make certain all site content would translate well on mobile devices.
This template is now reused by various departments at Stanford University.
